VP, Molecular Diagnostics, Roche

Since January 2008 Whitney Green has led the Commercial Operations for the US Molecular Diagnostics business of Roche Diagnostics. Responsibilities include overall P and L responsibility for the US Molecular Diagnostic business, Blood Screening and Clinical applications. Key Activities include developing and implementing the strategic and operational direction for the US Molecular Diagnostic business with a close collaboration with the Global Business Area and North American Diagnostic Senior Leadership team. Whitney has had over 25 years of successful experience in leading Sales, Marketing, Strategy and Customer facing teams both in domestic and international settings. He has worked in multi-national organizations specializing in Diagnostics, Medical Device, and Bio Pharmaceutical businesses with Market expertise encompassing Hospitals, Reference Laboratory and Blood Center customers. He has directly led commercial organizations in Asia, Latin America and North America markets during his career including living in Singapore for 4 years leading the Baxter Biotech business across the Asia region. He has an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Miami University and a Masters in Business Administration from Xavier University. Whitney is active in with his family and community as a volunteer coach and involved in numerous service community volunteer initiatives, including 3 year Co-Chair for Parish major fund raising event generating over $500,000 for the Parish. He is also active coordinating the Roche Annual Children’s Walk to benefit those suffering from AIDS in Africa, an avid golfer and an Eagle Scout.
