Sheila Rajagopal


Dr. Sheila Rajagopal, Clinical Instructor in Oncology and Research Fellow at The University of Chicago

Dr. (Padma) Sheila Rajagopal is a clinical instructor in oncology and research fellow at The University of Chicago. She completed medical school at Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons, during which she took an additional year to complete an MPH in Quantitative Methods at the Harvard School of Public Health with a focus on genetic epidemiology. She completed residency in internal medicine at The University of Pittsburgh prior to her fellowship. Her clinical and research focus is on cancer risk and hereditary syndromes and the integration of germline and somatic genetics in the care of oncology patients. She is currently working in the labs of Dr. Olufunmilayo I. Olopade and Prof. Hae Kyung Im at the University of Chicago.
